Held at The Dorchester, London Thursday 29th October 2009.

The Ballroom

This year the BCFA Annual Luncheon at the Dorchester attracted the second largest attendance ever. With representation from BCFA members and guests from every market sector this sell out annual event is truly the industry event of the year. Entertainment this year was supplied by an African Tribal drum & dance ensemble. Over 450 drums were circulated to guests to enable them to join in, despite some rather throbbing hands the spectacle created an uplifting performance celebrating our vibrant industry. Charles Rae Social Director of the BCFA commented ' I didn't realise the BCFA had so much rhythm!'

BCFA Chairman Rodney McMahon thanked the event supporters: CD Contract Curtains Ltd; Grohe; Morgan Contract Furniture; Panaz; Solk Furniture; Vescom Wallcoverings; Walker Greenbank Contracts and Wylies Europe. Then went on to comment how pleased he was to see such a remarkable turnout considering the economic climate. Mr McMahon added that following his comments about the importance of design to the industry in last years speech he was delighted to announce the launch of the Interior Design Association (IDA), an independent body for the interior design industry which has the objective to facilitate a strong and prosperous commercial interiors market, with members’ interests as a priority.

The next BCFA Dorchester Luncheon will take place on 4th November 2010
