Apprenticeship Week 2010

Apprenticeship Week 2010, which is taking place this week between the 1st and 5th February, is organised by the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS).

The week will celebrate the talents and skills of apprentices. It will see apprentices, employers, providers and all those involved with Apprenticeship programmes come together to celebrate the value of Apprenticeships.

The aim of the week is to raise the profile of apprenticeships in the workplace, highlight the benefits of apprenticeships in tackling crucial skills shortages, celebrate the achievements of apprentices and the role they play in today's business, and encourage more employers to take on apprentices.

 Proskills Apprenticeship Awards 2010


Proskills is announcing its 2010 Awards as part of Apprenticeship Week to find the sector's best performers.

This year, Proskills are expanding their categories, to not only celebrate the achievement of apprentices but of all vocational learners and the efforts of employers and training providers in up skilling their workforce.
The awards are open to entries from all industries in the Proskills footprint.
