Waxman Fibres are the exclusive European Distributor of Kanecaron inherently flame retardant modacrylic fibres used in the creation of high quality inherently safe furnishing, drapery and bedding fabrics.

Kanecaron is used in the weft of the fabric and blends beautifully with natural fibres including cotton, wool and silk to create fabrics with a truly natural look and feel but are permanently safe as the flame retardancy cannot wash or wear out. As this is an inherent solution and is created as result of the polymerisation process within the fibre manufacture, no topical chemical treatments are added to the fabric and no re-treatment is ever required.
