The Department of International Trade has announced the programme for Tradeshow Access Programme funding for 2019/2020. The BCFA can now confirm an offer of funding to eligible UK exhibitors at selected design and interiors shows in the Middle East and the USA.
Middle East Design and Hospitality Week 17-19 September, Dubai – TAP funding of £1,960
Will be the biggest and most important event featuring all things Design and Hospitality, through SEVEN co-located shows including Index Design, Surface Design, Workspace, The Hotel Show and The Leisure Show. Across three days, MEDHW will showcase the most important brands form the design and hospitality communities. The 50,000 visitors attending will not only come from the UAE, but will also include neighbouring GCC countries, India, Russia and East North Africa.
Index Qatar (co-located with Cityscape) 22-24 October 2019, Doha - TAP funding of £1,490
Qatar’s only event exclusively dedicated to the interior designer sector INDEX Qatar will be co-located with Cityscape Qatar, which is the only international real estate investment event in the state of Qatar. This unique co-location will attract key buyers including developers, local authorities, private & institutional investors plus end-users apart from the interior designers, architects, product specifiers, procurement specialists and other C-level professionals who already visit the event. Both shows together are expected to attract over 14,000 visitors.
Boutique Design New York (BDNY) 10-11 November, New York – TAP funding of £2,000
An exclusive opportunity to participate in a prime located UK Group at BDNY. Only 3 booths remain in our UK group pavilion. This prestigious show is ranked among the fastest growing trade fairs in the US and has doubled in size over the past three years to target the growing US boutique hotel sector. Visitors numbered over 8,000 interior designers, hospitality owners and developers primarily based in the Eastern US, Canada and Europe. BCFA can offer DIT TAP grants of £2,000 to eligible UK exhibitors on request. Urgent response required.
