For its 13th consecutive year, GROHE returned as Founder Partner for Europe’s most essential hospitality design show which this year evolved to acknowledge the growing interdependence of restaurants, bars and hotels in creating the full hospitality design experience. Sleep & Eat which took place 20-21 November at Kensington Olympia, saw GROHE showcase some of its most innovative products to the hospitality market.
GROHE welcomed hundreds of guests to its exclusive VIP lounge and stand across the two day event; guests from international global design and architect firms to hospitality and interiors press who came to unearth the latest trends and product innovations in the hospitality sector.
New for 2018, the luxurious GROHE lounge was a vision led by Carina Buhlert, a member of GROHE’s in house design team. Larger than previous years, GROHE provided a relaxing space for VIP hospitality associates to network. In addition, the GROHE bar served up a selection of delicious beverages including hot drinks made with filtered kettle hot water from GROHE’s Red tap and filtered still, medium and sparkling water from the Blue Home tap. This made for an excellent pit stop for guests exploring the show.
General Manager at GROHE, Ina Sielemann comments on the event: Sleep + Eat 2018 has provided another year of resounding success for our brand, with plenty of opportunity to develop exciting leads, build new business relationships and continue to strengthen our presence within the hospitality sector. It was particularly successful for our new and exciting categories such as ceramics, shower trays, sinks and complete bathroom solutions with more colours available. We were thrilled to have an even stronger presence at the event this year, providing more space in our luxurious VIP lounge and integrating our innovative kitchen WaterSystems – the Red and Blue taps – into the hospitality offering for guests. Our decision to strengthen brand awareness around all of our products including our kitchen offering aligned perfectly with the expansion of the show’s vision, which is now inclusive of restaurant design. After 13 years in our title as Founder Sponsor of the show, our relationship with the event and the industry continues to go from strength to strength and we are excited at the prospect of working on many more spectacular projects globally in 2019.
The brand showcased its most luxurious and innovative products designed to cater for Europe’s most prestigious and discerning hotel projects. Highlights included GROHE‘s stunning Atrio tap range which makes the perfect addition to hotel projects with its architecturally unique design features. The forward-thinking SmartControl shower systems range with multiple design and functionality options. Including the Excealed shower system which offers intuitive push-and-turn technology and its successor the Concealed shower system which offers additional behind-the-wall technology thanks to the Rapido Smartbox, making for a clever and highly efficient installation.
