Webinar 1: Claire Menzies, Istoria Group

On 3rd April Design Insider streamed their first live webinar with more than 40 people joining Design Insider Editor Alys Bryan as she interviewed Claire Menzies.  Claire discussed good business behaviour in the current crisis, creating a caring and profitable business, and sustainability.

Claire Menzies is Founder and Chairwoman of Bristol- and Indianapolis-based Istoria Group, a creative collective of three established sister agencies and two innovative start-ups. She is a proven entrepreneur, sustainability champion and passionate advocate for a triple-pronged ‘people, planet and profit’ business vision.

Webinar 2: Ron Swidler, The Gettys Group

On the 10th April, Design Insider streamed the second webinar in their new series with over 130 people joining Design Insider Editor Alys Bryan as she interviewed Ron Swidler, Chief Innovation Officer at The Gettys Group.  Ron discussed the hospitality sector in this time of crisis, what it will take for guests to return and whether hotels will be ready for the new digital world.

The Gettys Group is a family of hospitality-focused companies. For more than 30 years, they have guided developers, operators and brands in the creation of meaningful and rewarding hospitality experiences around the world through interior design, branding, procurement and development.  The group is currently actively working on over 50 projects, at all tiers of the chain scale and multiple project types, which includes 4 of their own developments under construction.

Webinar 3: Dr Craig Knight, Identity Realization

On the 17th April, Design Insider streamed the third webinar in the new series, enabling interior designers, manufacturers and the creative community to join Design Insider Editor Alys Bryan as she interviewed Dr Craig Knight, Founder and Director of Identity Realization.  Craig discussed happiness in the workplace, the effect of empowerment at work, positive spaces for working from home and the impact of COVID19 on the workplace.

Dr. Craig Knight is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Founder and Director of IDENTITY REALIZATION LIMITED, a commercial organisation with strong connections to blue chip industry. Working with his clients Craig combines a commercial focus and scientific application to enable him to realise increases in well-being of up to 40%, productivity of up to 32% and effective intelligence of up to 19%.

Webinar 4: Daniel Gay, Coexistence 

On the 22nd April, Design Insider streamed the forth webinar in the new series, enabling interior designers, manufacturers and the creative community to join Design Insider Editor Alys Bryan as she interviewed Daniel Gay, Managing Director at Coexistence.

Webinar 5: Alison Monteith, Managing Director at Monteith Scott

On the 29th April, Design Insider streamed the next webinar in the new series, enabling interior designers, manufacturers and the creative community to join Design Insider Editor Alys Bryan as she interviewed Alison Monteith, Managing Director at Monteith Scott.

Alison is a Birmingham based Interior Architect and workplace consultant who has a reputation for delivering successful, practical yet creative working environments across multiple markets. Alison worked in several architectural practices before establishing Monteith Scott in 1995. She has taught degree and post graduate level Interior Design students but is now concentrating on creating and delivering people focused working spaces that value the individual in changing and challenging times.
