The first of a series of new members’ forums will take place on the 25th June at the UBM offices, 240 Blackfriars Road, London, SE1 8BF in central London. BCFA members will learn from leading speakers on business creativity, growth strategies and skills development.

The talks will be followed by a Q&A session led by Jeremy Stein the BCFA Managing Director and this will be followed by member networking and drinks in the UBM mezzanine with spectacular views over the city.

This will be a great opportunity to meet and share ideas with your fellow members and to develop relationships with significant clients. As the event is intended primarily for BCFA members each member will be able to invite only one non-member guest.

Paul Yacoubian

Getting in the mindset for growth – implementing strategies and tactics for growth with case studies and examples around the various growth levers.

How much time do you really spend thinking about growing your business? The constant focus on profitability and cashflow is good for business and makes us all experts in improving business efficiency, but does it create growth? Our talk on 25th June will create an opportunity for our members to take a step back from the day to day to think about growing their businesses. Our speaker will lead the audience through some of the growth initiatives that are available and draw on inspiring real life examples to kickstart growth or reverse declining sales.

Paul Yacoubian is a Director and shareholder of Where Now Consulting Ltd. Paul trained as a Chartered accountant before moving into venture capital and ultimately business consultancy. He has a long history of helping companies to grow and become more profitable across a wide range of sectors including contract furniture. He has also played an active role in the 3rd sector both within the arts and also projects in Africa. Throughout his career Paul has helped many clients over a long periods of time, often through growth to ultimate sale, with his largest deal netting over £200m for the main family shareholder after over 10 years of involvement with the business that included establishing operations in North America, the Middle East and Australia. Paul is based in Dubai and has properties in Scotland, Switzerland and the US.
